This is one of our favorite meals, and I do so miss salmon when I'm in the US. It's so hard to get good salmon there, so I quite enjoyed this meal. The name we've given the soup isn't that descriptive, so go look at the (linked) recipe - it's quite delicious, and I highly recommend it! It's also versatile on the veggies - use whatever is appropriate for stir-fry that you have on hand. This was made with carrot, sugar snap peas, and red and green bell peppers.
Yum!
The cookies were from some dough we had in the freezer (we'll routinely make an entire batch of cookie dough and freeze most of it for later use). Chris really liked his, and I recall really enjoying mine last time, but this time I didn't care for the taste. We've got another us-sized batch in the freezer; we'll try those sometime and see if perhaps it was just something about my tastebuds this day.
