Salmon over rice, with broth dish, spring roll, and prawn crackers. Salmon over rice, with

Our fishmonger returned from his vacation today. :D I just baked this fish, with some dill on top: it normally would have had slices of lemon, too, but I overestimated how much we had, and we needed it all for the lemonade ... that didn't turn out, because I mis-remembered how much water to add. Blegh. Anyhow. The fish was still good.
The broth dish turned out really good this time, though it did feel kind of odd to eat broccoli florets from a soup. That was a new twist; the recipe is to stir-fry some veggies, and pour over the broth; I just use whatever stir-fry-appropriate veggies I have / feel like getting. You don't need to use broccoli florets ;-)
The spring roll and prawn crackers were store-bought at our favorite Chinese grocery store; we just fried the spring rolls and heated the crackers in the oven. I have no idea how I lived so much of my life without these crackers, they are so good. They serve them here at our favorite Chinese restaurant at the beginning, when you'd get chips and salsa in a Mexican restaurant (in the US; I have no idea what Mexican restaurants are like here).
More cinnamon rolls for dessert. I like them less tonight. Definitely need to try a different recipe next time.
