Sorry this is so blurry. I wanted to show you, not all the train stations we've been passing through are manned, so many people get on the train without a ticket. Then one of the conductors will come through with a machine (he's holding it in his right hand) and sell them tickets.
It always impresses me that the conductors actually remember everyone whose tickets they've seen, and who's new.
We were in a tunnel right when I took this shot - there were about three long tunnels along the whole route. I guess that means that rail is probably the fastest way to travel between New Mills and Sheffield, but it made me wonder what views I was missing out on.
