My awesome find of the day - a knife set at a good price! Man, have we needed some more good knives. We only had one chef's knife and one long knife that were decent, but needed sharpening about every week, plus a decent bread knife. We've been needing steak knives and kitchen knives for quite some time. Now all I want is a couple more chef's knifes, and someplace to put all these, and we're set! Yay! They cut through the chicken I dismembered this day like butter, too, it was awesome. And since most of the knives are one piece, we have less to worry about with them falling apart or getting crud wedged in places, and so on. Yay!

The orange things are juicers that came with the knife set that I'm not impressed with at all; the metal/plastic thing on the upper right is a "chef slicer" to make garnishes with, apparently. We may figure out how to use it sooner or later. The pastry blender and corn on the cob holders didn't come with the set, but were also acquired this day. I've been wanting a pastry blender for some time, and sure could have used the holders when having corn on the cob before! Chris had never seen corn on the cob holders before, poor lad.
