My parents had come to Branson before, and Dad had suggested we check out their boardwalk, so we did on Saturday night. They do have a neat fountain there, but I recommend dressing for the weather if you want to stand there and enjoy it. Sorry the picture's so blurry - we were both shivering so much!
We did get dinner at the boardwalk that night, at Famous Dave's, which was nice and had a fireplace. We first tried to go to an "Irish pub and restaurant" - but they required ID, even for my 31-year-old boyfriend, who'd left his passport in the hotel safe like a sensible traveller. I suppose he should take it as a compliment that he looks so young; at the time we were just hungry, though.
